Don't we look smart in our glasses? A new year's worth of eye insurance benefits finally kicked in and I got to replace the glasses I lost at the JFK airport last September and join Kevin in looking bookish and super smart. Right?

It's a good thing we are on a S-T-R-I-C-T budget over here in the Shevlin household because the J.Crew Fall Sale is here and I am drooling over bright cardigans and pretty party dresses. Kevin and I love J.Crew clothes, but we can rarely bring ourselves to pay full-price for any of their items (hello, over-priced!), so we rely on their awesome sales to stock up on some quality basics.

Hmm, if only I had a birthday coming up. Hint,hint, husband.
