Well, this is just a quick post to let you all know that I'm still alive and that I haven't packed my bags and hopped on the first plane out of this crazy place to some remote, warm, internet-free land where spring has actually arrived. Not yet, though one never knows when one is dealing with the Midwest. We will probably have a blizzard in July (in which case I will be sure to leave a fowarding address).

I've just been hiding out in my secret study-dungeon for the past few weeks trying to remain completely oblivious to the fact that it continues to SNOW here at the end of April and, trying to wrap up a twenty-credit semester all while maintaining my role as a doting, loving, cleaning, cooking, bring-your-slippers-and-your-scotch-to-the-door-when-you-get-home-from-work, sweet-as-pie, housewife. I know. How do I do it?
