return of the bad vegetarian, and other tales...

We're back from our weekend in Kansas and it was awesome! Did I mention we were in Kansas, where copious amounts of barbecue were consumed? Probably not, since the last time you heard from me was almost a month ago. Oi.

Well, I've spent the past three weeks recovering from an insane spring semester by being a complete and utter bum. I'm sorry to say that my poor ole blog was put on the back burner (way down on the priority list, yet not below washing my hair and getting dressed - it was an interesting three weeks). Of course, I meant for my time off to be a very Zen-like and productive period full of amazing and horizon-expanding spiritual experiences, vigorous physical activities, and challenging mental pursuits - but alas, it was not to be.

Now I'm finally back and ready to catch you all up on the amazing Shevlin Shenanigans of the past few weeks. So dry your tears little darlins' and get ready for a slurry of updates to come in the next few days!

For now, suffice it to say that we are happy and healthy (well, that is certainly debatable after a weekend of Kansas City barbeque) and cautiously (oh, humidity) celebrating the arrival of summer-like weather. Woot-woot!
