must watch

Kevin and I just watched the documentary "Young at Heart," and it is one of my new favorites. It's a true testament to the human spirit, to the beauty of aging with grace and joy, to the power of song, and, most of all, to the ways in which deep friendships can nourish and sustain us.

I was so moved and inspired by this movie, that I pretty much started crying during the opening scene (which is actually pretty funny, no real need for tears) and didn't stop until the end. It's a lovely little film - best watched with the people you love.

Perhaps you find youserlf wondering how a documentary about a chorus comprised of people with an average age of 80 can have meant so much to me? All I can tell you is that I loved it and I hope that will motivate you to check it out and perhaps you will love it as much as I do. As a teaser, watch this.
